And Direct Access means Dedicated access. This outbound service maximizes digital transmission over a powerful T-1 line that runs from your premise to our Point of Presence (POP). Immediate access via a local loop is provided by your Local Exchange Carrier (LEC), assuring connection of your high-speed, error-free data or voice transmissions.

• Custom Management Reports -- Detailed reports provide insight into your company's long distance usage, at no additional charge.
• CallVision Billing Software -- Lightyear customers can not only view their bills on line, they can also analyze them, thanks to Lightyear’s progressive new billing software program called CallVision.
• Validated/Non-Validated Project Account Codes -- No charge for non-validated 2-6 digit project codes. For a minimal fee, calls can be grouped using 2-6 digit validated project codes to justify accounting costs and control your long-distance charges.
• Ultima Calling Card -- Enhanced communications card lets you take your office on the road. Features include voice/fax mail, speed dial, 4-way conference calling, international origination and all long-distance calls using one card, one number.
• Lightyear Calling Card -- This competitive communications card bills domestic calls at money-saving six-second increments after an initial 18-second period with no surcharges, monthly fees or minimum spending requirements.
• Master Account Billing -- Consolidates multiple locations into one bill for one location.

  Pricing

• Flat Rate Service -- Regardless of time of day or distance called, we apply a simple flat rate per minute (billed in six second increments) on domestic long distance calls.
• Installation Charges -- There is a $500 installation fee for each T-1 line, plus applicable LEC installation charges. All Installation charges can be waived with a one year term commitment.
• Monthly Access (Local Loop) Charge -- Lightyear passes through the monthly local loop charge from your company's Local Exchange Carrier (LEC).
